Four new P-Bandai kits announced

Bandai just announced 4 new P-Bandai kits for 2020 at their Next Phase exhibition at GBT. No word on their actual release month yet but they did give indications on when the listings would go live on the P-Bandai Japan site.

First up we have the RE/100 ZMT-S12G Shokew from Mobile Suit Victory Gundam.

All new molding, so I believe this is the first time we've seen an all new RE/100 go online exclusive. The listing will go up sometime in January when orders go live on the P-Bandai store. Price should be 5850 yen at 800-900g ship weight.

Next we have the HGAC OZX-GU01A Gundam Geminass 01.

Gundam Wing is always popular, so expect his kit to move fast. Lots of great surface detail (though the builder for the display model did a bit of a rush job detailing the kit). Listing is expected to go live in February, so there's a bit of a wait before you can pre-order. No word on price, but I expect it to fit in the 500-600g weight category for shipping.

Third up we have the HG MS-06D Zaku Desert Type from The Origin MSD.

Having built The Origin Zaku in the past, I have full confidence that this will be a great kit. Especially with the three-piece pauldron which conceals the pesky seamline present on other Origin Zakus. Price will be 3400 yen and shipping probably in the 700-800g range. No announcement when the listing goes live, just that it should be in winter.

And finally we have the HGUC RX-78-4 Gundam Unit 4 G04.

This is my favourite kit from the new announcements. From what I've seen, I suspect it's using the C-Runner from the Mudrock (without the Mudrock specific parts). Everything else looks new, though it'll almost certainly require some detail painting to bring out the most in the kit. Release will probably be in May/June at the earliest with the listing going live in winter.

Keep in mind that Bandai averages around 5 new P-Bandai kits per month. This is far from a complete list of upcoming webshop exclusives. With 4 new kits announced for March so far and 3 for April, expect some surprises in the coming weeks.
